The American Cut’s distinct profile is what gives players a full, clear low register and vibrant altissimo.

Signature for Saxophone
The Signatures for Saxophone respond without hesitation. They are thinner and stiffer than a traditional cane reed, making them easy to play and wonderfully smooth. They produce a pristine, centered sound with colorful overtones.
This reed is medium-bright yet focused which is why it’s used worldwide by advanced and professional players in both jazz and classical settings.

Classic for Saxophone
The Classic for saxophone are extremely durable. This cut is based on the first prototype and produces a darker, focused sound. The thicker tip makes it ideal for projecting and providing a full, rich, and percussive sound.
The Classic are more percussive than the Signatures making it ideal for marching bands and large ensembles.

Studio Cut for Saxophone
The Studio Cut uses the same material as the Classic but with a modified profile. This profile is designed to offer a more responsive reed without the overtones of the Signature. The softer material increases projection and ease of play.
The Studio Cut is an ideal choice for players who use a lot of vibrato in their sound or blow very hard. It is recommended that players test the Signature before the Studio Cut.
