Simone Bellagamba (b. 1995) is an accomplished Italian saxophonist whose artistic career is deeply rooted in chamber music. A graduate with highest honors in Saxophone and Chamber Music, he later pursued advanced studies at the Conservatory of Palma de Mallorca.


He is the co-founder of the GATE Duo and the Alma Saxophone Quartet, with which he completed a second-level Master’s degree in Chamber Music at the Conservatory of Parma under the mentorship of the renowned Trio di Parma.


He has performed at prestigious festivals and concert series across Europe, including the Schiermonnikoog Festival (Netherlands), Jazz Forum Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), VigoSaxForum (Spain), Mallorca Saxophone Festival (Spain), Ceresio Estate (Switzerland), as well as in leading Italian festivals such as Teatro Comunale di Carpi, Serate Musicali, Amici della Musica di Firenze, Fondazione Musica per Roma, Sagra Musicale Malatestiana, FIlarmonica Umbra, Milano Musica and the Emilia Romagna Festival.


In addition to his chamber music work, he has collaborated with orchestras including the Opera Theatre Orchestra of Rome, the Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori, the Orchestra Europa InCanto, and the Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana.


His artistry has been recognized with numerous awards, including First Prizes in both solo and chamber music categories at national and international competitions, notably the Premio Nazionali delle Arti (2018/2019).


Simone has been invited to give masterclasses at leading institutions and festivals, such as the VigoSaxForum 2024 (Spain), the Conservatory of Santiago de Cuba, the Conservatory of Sant Cugat (Barcelona), and the International Saxophone Festival of Fermo 2025 (Italy).
He has also recorded with major labels including Parco della Musica Records, BAM Music International, Sud in Sound, and WOW Records.
