In 1979 after completing his studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass., Jimmy moved to his current city of Las Vegas, Nevada. He lives there with his wife, Linda, and three lovable dogs. Las Vegas was chosen due to the suggestion of his mentor, Wes Hensel, and in turn fulfilled his lifelong dream to live in Las Vegas. He has played every showroom in town and has been performing as well as giving private instruction for the last 31 years.

Jimmy has had the pleasure of working with amazing artists such as Ray Charles, Diana Ross, Lou Rawls, Susan Anton, Donna Summers and Tommy Dorsey, to name a few, in the showrooms of Las Vegas.

Having been classified as a handicapped person due to legal blindness from birth, he was stricken with another trauma that resulted in three cervical neck fusions after suffering from an accident. His current business, Jimmy's Music, was formed as a means to combine performance, jazz/music clinics, and private instruction.
