Soprano Saxophone, Lenoir Sax Quartet
"I have been playing them for 2 years now, and the reeds never let me down. Consistent performance, whether indoor Chamber Music or outdoor Big Band. All members of Lenoir Sax use them and the reeds have brought consistency of tone and tune to the group that cant be matched with cane reeds."- Robert

Robert George: I am a founding member of Lenoir Sax. I received my music education in the world renown Lenoir High Band. A conservatory based program that was in existence here from 1924-1977. Our Sax Quartet is named for the town and band that encouraged such high standards of musicianship. As an adult player, I have studied with James Houlik and Jack Wilkens. I am also the group’s music librarian and historian and have gone to extensive lengths to research and gather the history of Saxophone Quartet repertoire.
